Meet Oscar. He won an award from the now defunct Olde Prairie Register Magazine a few years back. He is made from muslin and cloth and roughly is about 40 inches tall, maybe more. He holds a sack of eggs made from old quilts and the sack is made from an old sugar sack. His clothing is floral shirt and stripes. Greatly shaded face. This listing is for MELODY ONLY. Up for your consideration today is Melody & heart. Melody roughly measures 32 inches tall. She is made from baked, sanded, painted & stained muslin. She has hand-painted eyes & mouth and seperately stitched on eyelids. She has been shaded for "ffect" around her nose and eyebrows.Melody has soft brown mohair hair and a pinch-stitched nose and eyebrows. She has soft-sculpted hands and hand-painted shoes on her feet with a small rusty bell on each shoe.Melody has a very intricate dress. She first has on muslin bloomies. Then she has on a muslin & blue floral petticoat. She then has on a blue floral underskirt and then a blue toile overskirt that has been grubbed up. She also has a matching muslin and blue floral hat. To finish her off I gave her a cheescloth scarf with a vintage 1950's rhinestone pin which is removeable and that you could wear also. She also comes with a cute vintage blue basket with brown bow and rusty bell filled with excelsior grass and 4 yellow spring chicks! Melody would be a "Wonderful Spring Addition" to your primitive home to display throughout the year. If you feel the "need" to adopt Melody, she will come carefully packaged, signed & dated by me ---Susan--on your doorstep...This doll was made from a pattern by Prim & Proper Folks...

This listing is for MICHAEL ONLY. My Sweet Valentine Michael. He is made from a pattern by Prim and Proper Folks. He has been stained, sanded and stained again for that look of olde. Michael roughly measures 32 inches tall. Michael has a hand-painted face with separately stitched on eyelids. Michael has needle-felted brown wool hair. Michael has needle-sculpted hands and hand-painted shoes with laces and hand-painted socks. Michael's clothing is made from a vintage red, gray/ black check flannel that compliments his girl Melody (see my other auctions). He wears a pair of knickers and a coat with warm and natural batting down the front with contrasting twisty ties. He has a bib around his coat with hand-stitched red floss around it as trim. On his sweet little head he wears a straw hat that has been painted red and toned down with browns. If you look closely, he even has a beanie on top that spins. To finish him off, I gave Michael a Valentine wand that has the words "BE MINE" hand embroidered on the front and is attached securely to a wand stick. He is going to give it to Melody for Valentine's Day to show how much he cares for her. Michael would make a wonderful addition to a prim home for the holiday and after Valentine's day is over, take the wand away and he becomes an everyday doll :)Custom order only......
